The Oil Smart® kits include the Oil Smart® system and pump required to safely discharge water from transformer oil containment areas and underground vaults into waterways and the environment without the risk of pumping oil. All of the Oil Smart® Pump kits below include the 151, 152 or 153 Effluent Submersible Pump specifically designed for the Electric Utility Industry.

151 Pump: 1/3 HP Pump passes ½” spherical solids, durable cast iron construction
152 Pump: 4/10 HP Pump passes ¾” spherical solids, durable cast iron construction
153 Pump: 1/2 HP Pump passes ¾” spherical solids, durable cast iron construction

  • Description: The control panel combines Oil Smart® pump control and alarm technology - Includes visible mounted features for complete monitoring and dry contacts to connect to building automation or SCADA system.

  • Description: The control panel combines Oil Smart® pump control and alarm technology - Includes visible mounted features, dry contacts to connect to building automation or SCADA system and duplex control pump rotation for longer pump life and high demand two-pump operation.

  • Description: The Oil Smart® pump switch is a standalone control that will operate any pump up to 1HP. It requires no control panel and it automatically pumps water without the risk of pumping oil (includes piggyback plug for quick installation).

  • Description: The OSSIM control box provides a means for hardwiring the pump control and pump in the field. This is designed for applications where no alarm is required (i.e. city underground vaults). The system includes a green Pump Run light and hand-off-auto (H.O.A.) switch.
